The excitement of an early morning train ride to Canada is almost too much to bear. You’re missing genuine scenery, Emma!
No risk of that in Vancouver, where first stop was Granville Island, cute bath-tub ferries and tasty morsels of food.
We dined at a fabulous Indian restaurant (Vij’s – worth it if you don’t mind queuing for an hour) and then a slightly less fabulous ‘quirky’ diner for breakfast. Jo – have you finished your ****ing pancakes yet?
A nice stroll through Stanley Park to see the totem poles, then a cab on Capilano suspension bridge and general North-Westerness theme park. A bit cheesy but worth a visit.
